At People First Bank, we're stepping up to the crease for another exciting year of partnership with the Adelaide Strikers.
This relationship began with People's Choice, who have been a proud major partner of the Adelaide Strikers BBL and WBBL teams since 2017 and People First Bank is proud to continue on, with 2025 marking our 8th year of partnering with the team. We are also the inaugural SACA Membership Partner – a perfect alignment of two Member-centric organisations.
Supporting the Strikers community
We are proud to stand alongside the Adelaide Strikers in supporting the people who make our cricket community strong. From offering aspiring young players the chance to learn from WBBL athletes through our First Striker Junior Clinic, to recognising the dedicated individuals behind local clubs through the Volunteer of the Year Award and our First Class Heroes video series, our partnership puts community at the centre.
Bringing our sponsorship to life
In 2025 and 2026, our sponsorship will come to life across multiple platforms engaging fans and crowds. At every BBL home game, four lucky fans will have the chance to win an ultimate fan experience. Plus, there will be an exciting on-ground challenge during the Innings Break for BBL matches and pre-game at WBBL matches.
The much-loved VIP People First Pavilion is back, where it will again take pride of place at Adelaide Oval next to the old heritage scoreboard.
Stay tuned for some exciting competitions, including the chance for Strikers fans to win a major cash prize and for some lucky junior fans to participate in a junior clinic with some of the WBBL team!
First Class Heroes
In this episode, we celebrate the 2023/24 Premier Cricket Volunteer of the Year, Barry 'Baz' Earl from Adelaide Cricket Club. Dedicated individuals like Baz are the driving force behind the growth of women and girls' cricket in South Australia.
In this episode, we feature long-time Roomie Ian Basey, whose support - along with the rest of the Roomies - plays a vital role in keeping the teams organised, prepared, and ready to perform on game day.
We sat down with Josh - the Adelaide Strikers’ #1 fan and a passionate cricketer who proudly represents Australia’s Intellectual Disability team. From the stands to the pitch, his love for the game runs deep, and we’re proud to share his story.
